![]() will probably pickup Keyscape sooner or later, bcs of all other wonderful and rare rhodes pianos it has, harpsicords, various old acoustics and strange uprights.īut, if Scarbee is coming out with a new rhodes library, you should certainly wait to check that out first, as its probably gonna be much cheaper than spectrasonics. ![]() even if its just a demo, i already heard detail, vibrancy and dynamics that surpasses Scarbee, which is quite an old library by now. That being said, i was totally blown away by Keyscape demos. rhodes has to envelope you in warmth and bark. and as poster above mentioned something off in low mids and lows. Nord rhodes (i played stage2ex and electro5) is okayish for live, but pretty much average and unrealistic. whenever it wasn't viable or practical to record my stage mk1, i would use Scarbee. others always had something off in the sound that it was a deal breaker. Cant say i tried every living rhodes library, but of the usual suspects i was always most happy with behaviour of Scarbee. Trying my hand at sound design and it's both a lot of fun and I feel like it comes pretty naturally to me, so I made some presets for valentines day, from me to you <3.
